We went in here late afternoon, had a cold, non alcoholic drink each (2 of us), 1 muffin and 1 cookie came to 28 euros, yet when I look on here, we could have had a light meal for that... something not right... Price is extortionate. Tried to pay twice with card (no problems before or since!), they cancelled the transaction twice and we ended up paying cash... what is this about?!?!?!

Made the mistake of thinking this is linked to museum next door. They have exact same signage, as if it's planned to give you this impression and it looks like it is a café to adjoin museum as it just has a glass wall between museum shop/ticket office and their toilets. Checking afterwards they even are linked on the same website!! We spotted toilets and went to use before our tour and got shouted at by extremely agressive waitress that THIS IS A RESTAURANT and when we apologized and explained we had tickets and showed them to her she just screamed NO DOMUS TOILET and pointed us to the door. It was an honest mistake and if she'd just politely said 'sorry these are only for restaurant customers, we are not part of the museum' it would've left a far nicer impression and we might have been tempted to use the place for food or drink. Complete over reaction and can only assume lots of other people have done the same thing!!

Very nice place near colosseum and monument Altar of the Fatherland. You sit outside under the obelisk and enjoy the view. The menu foe dinner is very good and their Tagliere di salumi e fromaggi for starters is recommended. The waiters are engaging and know many languages in order to take your command in English/French. I was also delighted to be given a sit suitable for toddlers and infants. That's very nice.

Highly recommend oxtail meatballs with the fruit tart. Be patient with staff they’re doing their best to helps out every one with so many languages. They where very sweet to us. Take the time to check out their Instagram. Well worth it!!!

Amazing place. This place used to be Enotica Provincia Romana, highly recommended on Lonely Planet, new name and all now. We absolutely loved the food, they had some cookies you can buy which are made by prisoners that they work with, and the service was amazing. We were waited on by Ricardo and his recommendations and attentiveness were definitely above and beyond.

This is not a restaurant for tourists but for travelers. It’s good to be comfortable with restaurant Italian! Service was good as well as food, and from my table I had a great view of Trajan’s column. And it’s right next door to the Palazzo Valentini.

Was placed in a backroom next to the bathroom. Was constantly forgotten about, had food delivered late and had to shout for service. Would be a fine foodie restaurant if they eliminated the limbo table.
